Shared custody to save money
Shared home-based care is the care of a young person at the same time as another family. This solution is much less expensive than the nursery or the maternal assistant, since the costs are shared. The two families decide together in which housing will take place the guard, it can alternate between the two homes. From a logistical point of view, this makes it possible to avoid traveling, or even to keep other larger children from time to time. This mode of care is definitely more interesting for households with two salaries and for whom the crèche, whose rate is established according to income, is too expensive. To find the right person, it is advisable to post an ad on a specialized site, idem to find the second family. This approach can however be difficult, the nanny does not always have a specific training and the hazards with the other family can be a trap (schedules, holidays, etc ).
The cost of shared custody
The salary of the child care ranges from 7.61 euros to 8.73 euros per hour, to which can be added transport costs. This cost is of course shared between the two families. Then come the social and employer contributions, which are 85% of the salary, except that some bank covers 50% with a ceiling of 447 euros per month per child. Lastly, home childcare gives the right to a tax credit of up to 6,000 euros, equivalent to 50% of the sums committed, that is to say 12,000 euros.
Shared custody allows the budget to focus on other, sometimes larger, costs for children. When personal finances are overflowing with credit, a great opportunity is the grouping of loans . This is a financial package that consolidates all loans in progress into a single loan at a reduced rate. The monthly payment can be reduced, while the total cost and the duration of the credit increase.
